| The Henry Fonda Theater was packed with Hollywood's brightest young stars for the 2005 Movieline Young Hollywood Awards. Up-and-comers like Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Jesse Metcalfe, Benji Madden and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale mingled on the red carpet and at the cocktail party before the big ceremony. Other A-listers that were seen about included Jenny McCarthy, Carmen Electra, Eva Longoria, Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, Amber Tamblyn, Angie Harmon and Josie Maran. Jenny McCarthy was awarded "Hottest New Screenwriter" for her romantic comedy, Dirty Love. The film, which McCarthy wrote and starred in along with Carmen Electra, was a hit at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and also screened at the 2005 HBA Aspen Comedy Festival. Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale was given the "Male Standout Performance Award" presented by Josie Maran. A newly blonde Lindsay Lohan was named "Today's Superstar" while Jessica Alba was named Hollywood's "Superstar of Tomorrow." The AXE hook-up lounge after-party took place on the roof and was thrown in honor of Jesse Metcalfe's award for "Exciting New Face." And, what an exciting face it is!
