On a warm, June evening, Los Angeles notables came together at former Mayor Richard Riordan and Nancy Daly Riordan’s Brentwood mansion to support “Caring for Children and Families with AIDS.” Guests mingled in the gardens and enjoyed the elegant cuisine all put together by an A-list host committee that included the following: David Arquette and Courteney Cox, Jon and Joya Favreau, Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar, Heidi Klum and Seal, Kyle MacLachlan, KTLA’s Sam Rubin and Emmett Miller, Megan Mullally and Christine Taylor and Ben Stiller. POWER publisher, Loraine Jarblum, mingled with the guests, including Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, and spent time talking to actor Kyle MacLachlan and his wife, Desiree Gruber, who is president of the public relations firm, Full Picture. Currently, MacLachlan is a main actor on the set of ABC’s new series, In Justice, a drama in which attorneys liberate the falsely accused while discovering the identities of those really to blame for crimes.

Everyone enjoyed this “4th Annual Food and Wine Experience,” sipping on wine from vineyards all over California, including Laetitia Vineyard and Winery in Arroyo Grande and Pavi from St. Helena California. Champagne Taittinger was flowing as guests nibbled on cuisine from all the top Los Angeles Restaurants: A.O.C., Blue on Blue, La Cachette, Campanile, Citrine, Grace, Katana, Whist, Peet’s Coffee and Tea, Whole Foods, Gladstone’s and Saddle Peak Lodge. This highly satisfying culinary experience also proved highly satisfactory for its charity, which strives to provide the highest quality of life for children living with severe medical and mental health conditions.
