Perrier Jouët 1998 Fleur de Champagne Brut Luncheon

Another beautiful Hollywood afternoon at the timeless Chateau Marmont was a fittingly sophisticated backdrop for the city's champagne elite as they congregated to toast the arrival of Perrier Jouët 1998 Fleur de Champagne Brut.

Perrier Jouët PR impresario Liz Dueland greeted guests with a smile and a flute of the delicate and sublimely fruit-accented 1998 Fleur de Champagne Brut. With the sounds of fine crystal clinking, flowered bottles pouring, and cheerful chatter filling the historic Chateau Marmont dining room, Perrier Jouët CEO Jean-Marie Barillère explained the artful process behind the crafting of this 1998 signature cuvée. Chef de Caves Hervé Deschamps created the 1998 Fleur de Champagne by carefully faceting it from 30 crus, or vineyards, found within six historic villages of Champagne.

Guests sampled the Fleur de Champagne Rosé, whose chilled temperature and floral effervescence helped to take the edge off the warm afternoon. The Rosé Champagne was also the perfect compliment for an extravagant lunch carefully crafted by the Chateau Marmot kitchen. Guests included sommeliers from some of Los Angeles' most well-known restaurants, including Mr. Chow.

Perrier Jouët also used the occasion to unveiled its "Party for Two" photo series. The black-and-white-themed photos are an intimate and remarkably sensitive visual essay prepared by noted celebrity photographer Patrick McMullan, who perfectly captures the elegance of the Fleur de Champagne Brut brand through his lens.
