Patrick McMullan threw a party as only this highly-esteemed photographer can. At the gallery, Patrick previewed some of his photographs that are in his new book, SO80S, A Photographic Diary of A Decade. McMullan has been a staple in the New York scene since the hey days of Studio 54. He is known as one of the in-crowd, counting the late Andy Warhol, Liza, Cindy Crawford, Madonna, and Liv Tyler amongst his pals. His friends are many because he is the proverbial nice guy without any airs or pretensions about him. Patrick attributes his power and success to "being who I am, consistent and keeping my word."

Patrick and his team shoot everything from Manhattan to the Hamptons to the glitz of Hollywood. He is bicoastal, as well as traveling all over the globe. His snapshots are in New York Magazine's "The Scene," as well as monthlies such as Vanity Fair, Elle, Allure, Hamptons, Gotham, Men's Health, LA Confidential, and many mags overseas.

The easy going Patrick is also on air-in Party Flash segment on the Women’s Entertainment Networks show, Full Frontal Fashion. His other books include Men’s Show and Secrets of the Riviera. McMullan is the emeritus of the paparazzi and has become part of the world he has covered for so long.
