On Apr. 26, Warner Bros. held its premiere of House Of Wax at the Mann's Village Theater in Westwood. Throngs of young fans lined the streets to catch a glimpse of such young hot Hollywood stars as Paris Hilton, accompanied by her sister, Nicky, as well as the rest of the Hilton clan and co-stars Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, Jared Padalecki, Jon Abrahams and Robert Ri’chard. Other A-listers that came to catch a sneak peek of the new flick included Amanda Bynes, Amber Smith, Kimberly Stuart, Jason Mewes and Kristin Bell, among many others. The remake of the 1953 horror thriller, which releases in theatres nationwide on May 6, follows a group of college students who stumble upon a small town’s scary secret. Car troubles leave the group stranded in Ambrose, Iowa. While there, the group is helplessly drawn to the town’s main attraction, Trudy’s House of Wax, which is filled with surprisingly life-like wax sculptures. The group soon discovers the reason the sculptures look so real and are entwined in a bloody battle for survival. They must find a way to escape Ambrose and the mysterious killer who is stalking them or become the newest additions to Trudy’s House of Wax. Young Hollywood star power is sure to draw teen horror fans to this gory thriller.
