Jo-Beth Williams and Jackie Collins

Hollywood Divorces: The Chopard Event

Adding to the collection of rampant, sexually-charged novels springs Jackie's latest, Hollywood Divorces, a juicy and playful read on Hollywood romances. With novels known for telling true Hollywood stories, Jackie never unveils the celebrities who her characters are modeled after and continues to draw in readers with her entertaining style.

Born in London, Jackie's life was planned for stardom, but not as a fiction writer. Her father, a theatrical booking agent, urged her and her sister, Dynasty star, Joan Collins, to enter the world of acting. However, in 1969, Jackie's The World is Full of Married Men covered shelves, achieving immediate success and recognition across countries. Not only did she gain acknowledgment for her writing ability, but the world received what can be called one the most sexually lewd novels of its time and that was only the beginning. Including Hollywood Divorces, Jackie has published 23 books since the start of her career.

The event at Chopard Boutique, hosted by the president of Chopard, Thierry Chaunu, sparkled with class and drew in guests such as Barbara and Marvin Davis, David Foster with wife, Linda Thompson and Arnold and Anne Kopelson, who all came to take part in Hollywood Divorce's anticipated debut.

Chaunu, a Paris native, has a passion for movies and vintage cars and is a proud sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival, The Mille Miglia, and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. He, of course, takes pride in his company's renowned success, authenticity, and European origin. Founded in 1860 in Geneva, Chopard remains one of the last family-owned establishments in the luxury goods industry, and the family is involved in nearly every facet from design to production.
