|Celebs gathered in the lovely DaVinci Ristorante to celebrate the publication of author Deana Martin’s new book Memories are Made of This. In the captivating novel, she recalls the life of her late father and comedian Dean Martin. Dean, whose best friend was Frank Sinatra, was a member of the Rat Pack and was known for his wit, good looks and for always having a cocktail and cigarette in hand. Dean spent many of his last nights at the restaurant, and the event was a tribute to his long-lived success. The classy Beverly Hills crowd included agents, movie moguls and some of the matriarchs and patriarchs of Hollywood. In attendance, to name a few, were Joe Mantegna, Bonnie Hunt, Audrey and Robert Loggia, Jolene and George Schlatter, Maria von Nicolai, John Griffith, Diahann Carroll, Tina Sinatra, Bobby Finklestein, Michelle and Ed Lauter, Gary Hudson, Henry Silva, Michael DeLuise, Hal Needham, and, of course, Deana Martin herself! It was a party that Dean Martin himself would have enjoyed, holding court at his usual table!
