Baccarat and UNICEF Christmas Lighting Ceremony

This holiday season, LA will have a festive display unlike any other, thanks to a beautiful lighting ceremony on Rodeo Drive. Baccarat, the leading French luxury crystal manufacturer, partnered with the City of Beverly Hills to create a never-before-seen chandelier display to help UNICEF in their efforts to “brighten the world for children” during the holidays. The lighting ceremony included 20 dazzling Baccarat chandeliers worth over US $1 million on display in giant Lucite boxes, thousands of twinkle lights, and the magnificent “Tree of Lights” at the top of the Regent Beverly Wilshire. The chandeliers will illuminate three blocks of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills throughout this season, making the posh LA shopping experience even more unique and elegant. To add to the excitement and support the celebration and cause, celebrities came out to be part of the action, including Desperate Housewives Nicollette Sheridan, 14-time Grammy award winning composer David Foster, Aaron and Candy Spelling, Buzz Aldrin, and more! The ceremony also involved a performance by Culture Shock, a group of young dancers whose mission is to cultivate self-worth, dignity, and respect for all people through the power of music and dance. This one-of-a-kind event made Beverly Hills sparkle as well as raised awareness of those who are less fortunate during the holiday season.
